Alisa Movies does not host, upload, or store video files on our GitHub Pages servers. All video streams originate either from verified open-license public domain film repositories (such as the Internet Archive and Blender Open Projects) or third-party web services.
Alisa Movies respects the intellectual property rights of others and adheres strictly to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and international copyright standards.
1. Non-Hosting Nature of Service
Our web application acts solely as an educational cinema metadata browser and search directory utilizing public REST APIs:
- The Movie Database (TMDB) API for cast, genres, plot summaries, and official promotional trailer links.
- TVMaze API for television broadcast metadata and schedules.
- Public Domain Archives for open-access motion pictures released under Creative Commons or in the public domain.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content indexed on Alisa Movies infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the specific material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including the exact URL on our website.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
